The Hamilton Tigers joined the Old Time Hockey League in 1942 as the Brooklyn Americans. The Americans relocated to the Hamilton for the 1949 season. The Tigers have made the playoffs ten times; making the final four time and winning the one Cup.. 

After the 1959 season, the Tigers moved to Vancouver and were rebranded as the Canucks.
