The Chicago Black Hawks joined the Old Time Hockey League in 1942.The Black Hawks have won four Stanley Cups and made twelve playoff appearances. 

After the former owner of the Blackhawks brought the Hamilton Tigers moved the team to Vancouver. The former owner of the Tigers brought the Blackhawks and moved the Blackhawks minor team to Hamilton.
