Hamilton Tigers were an early era expansion team of the OTHL The Tigers won the Canadian Cup and Stanley Cup once before seeing the club fold. Hamilton Tigers are now an affiliate team for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Philadelphia Quakers were an early era expansion team of the OTHL. The Quakers never won and championships but were always one of the better teams in the league before relocating to Minnesota.
Montreal Maroons came into the OTHL during the early days of the league. The Maroons won two Canada Cups and two Stanley Cups before relocating the franchise to Washington.
Brooklyn Americans were one of seven original teams of the OTHL. Brooklyn never won championship but were a model club in the league until the team relocated to Long Island, and became the known as the New York Islanders.
Victoria Cougars were an early era club in the OTHL and relocated to north California, becoming the California Golden Seals. The Golden Seals put their farm team in Victoria.
